Hobby Farm part 2

 

Fishing weekend!

We had a great weekend at Metigoshe!  Everyone caught fish, and for Piper and Noelle it was their first fish ever!  The weather was amazing, the fish were abundant, and we got to see lots of other wildlife including lots of turtles!  We rented a couple of kayaks for the weekend which was fun too.  So thankful for the opportunity ❤️

Hobby Farm adventure

We got to go visit a hobby farm last weekend, and it was wonderful!  We all really enjoyed it 😊. Here is Rhea holding a huge bunny named 'Chubbs' 

Elliott seemed to be a bit of a 'pig whisperer'!  The pigs were shy and squealing a lot, but Elliott got them calmed right down. 

Piper could not get enough of this cat! She held her a good part of the time we were there!  And the cat didn't seem to mind ❤️

The baby goats were hilarious!  They were jumping up and trying to bite hair and toques, but were sooo cute. 

Piper and Rhea even got to bottle feed two of them. 

 It was a great day and we're hoping to go back soon! 

Valentine's day and Spring is in the air

Malia,  Rhea, and Piper decided to paint all kinds of springy pictures for Piper's room.  It was very sweet!  They even put up clouds, a sun, and a tree to go with all the flowers and butterflies😍

 

The kids surprised us by kicking us out of the kitchen for over two hours and preparing a candle-lit dinner for Tyler and I!  Complete with music😊.  It was so sweet!  I wish I had a photo of it.  After we were served (complete with a little waitress in a 50's diner costume), they all scurried downstairs so we could have our date.  Seriously!!!!  Our kids are amazing!

Then we had our annual Valentine's day chocolate fondue.  It was a great day!
